Health E Medical Centre opened at 258 Shannon Avenue, Geelong West on 24 October 2005. The new Medical Centre was an amalgamation of two previously established practices, Shannon Avenue Medical Centre and Geelong West Medical Centre. 

Since merging their practices into a new, modern, purpose built medical centre, Dr Michael Carroll and Dr John Stekelenburg have extended their opening hours until 8.00pm each week day, 9.00am – 12.00noon on Saturdays and 10.00am – 12.00noon on Sundays. 

The number of doctors working at the practice has increased to eight with three practices nurses supporting the doctors and assisting patients.
